History

Company AMT Automatisierungstechnik GmbH has been established over 35 years ago in Essen, Germany. Since then, our company has made a decisive contribution to the development of automation technology. Below, we listed the most important milestones of our corporate history.

 

1982

  • Foundation of our company
  • Development of an own micro-computer module system on the basis of SIEMENS SMP

 

1986

  • First PC control system under operating system MS-DOS and SIEMENS SMP module system

 

1990

  • First PC control system under MS-DOS and SIEMENS S5 PLC system structure
  • MASTER / SLAVE and semi-graphic visualization of the line occupancy and transport processes within the line control
  • Freely programmable process control by means of the GAL Interpreter

 

1994

  • First PC control system under Windows NT and SIEMENS S5 automation system
  • System structure MAIN COMPUTER / CLIENT in 2D visualization
  • Direct automatic realization of a time-way diagram into a drive sequence and throughput optimization

 

1996

  • Introduction of a simulator into the drive sequence control for offline tests, trouble-shooting and the optimization of process programs

 

1997

  • First main computer program under operating system Windows NT

 

2000

  • First PC control system under Windows 2000 and SIEMENS S7 system
  • System structure MAIN COMPUTER / CLIENT in 3D visualization

 

2004
